Please be advised that the below date has been declared a holiday throughout the country by virtue of Proclamation no. 1070:

Regular Holiday – July 17 (Friday) Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan)

 

Originated by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, Eid’l Fitr is a cause for celebration and thanks giving to Allah.

“In order to bring the religious and cultural significance of the Eid’l Fitr to the fore of national consciousness, it is necessary to declare Friday, 17 July 2015, as a regular holiday throughout the country,” the proclamation said.
