CANADA – Raised in Davao City, Liza Silagan Ombao finished 1st runner-up at Fil-Core’s Miss Caregiver Pageant held in St. Michael’s College School Centre for the Arts in Bathurst Street, Canada Saturday, July 16.

Liza also clinched the Best in Creative Gown Award with her evening gown made of various color of plastics inspired by Roy Alcordo, a Fashion Designer in the Philippines.

Liza took up Bachelor of Arts in Commerce Major in Business Management at the University of Mindanao and came to Canada in 2006 working as a Caregiver.

2016 Miss Caregiver flagship not only the ten Candidates vying for the title. It also showcased the leadership skills of the women behind Fil-Core and the organizing Committee that made the event a success.
