Leticia by The Sea is Davao’s off the beaten track destination hidden in the island of Talicud, Island Garden City of Samal. This 12,000 square meters property provides luxurious and spacious accommodation for up to 40 guests. It is a paradise, with a rolling landscape of colorful gardens and trees and scattered overlooking a spectacular view of the turquoise sea.

Cottages are constructed with coco lumber, hard wood, bamboo, amakan, and nipa and complemented with interesting artifacts and collection of antiques the family has acquired from their home province of Negros. Antique day beds, old lamps, tarnished bancas, ship rudders, an old river boat for hauling sugar cane, cabinets and an ethnic head statue are strategically placed all over the place to give you a rustic but cozy atmosphere.

The resort includes Pavilion that serves as an entertainment area, with a 40″ LED TV, DVD player, sound system, Wi-Fi, board games and mahjong table; The Molave hall function room that can accommodate 30 to 40 persons; Infinity pool (future expansion); Kiddie pool and Dive shop. Private villas are set in a natural landscape that is uniquely beautiful.

There are kayaks, pedal boat, speed boat, jet ski, and multipurpose outrigger boat.

How to get there? Take a 5-minute ride by barge, followed by a 30-minute ride from Babak to Kaputian, and a 10-minute boat ride across Talicud.
