Tonight at SM City Davao, lights will be turned off in an effort to remind its patrons about the urgent need for action on global warming.
Earth hour, an annual event by the World Wide Fund (WWF) Australia, is being widely celebrated across the Philippines. A lot of establishments in Davao participate in this yearly event wherien environmental groups and even commercial and resedential establishments are expected to unite and switch their lights off from 8 to 9 p.m.
Join in the fun with kids in costume in celebrating the Earth Hour Switch Off! Parade of Kiddie Superheroes starts at 7:30 PM at the Annex Event Center. First 100 kids will get a chance to enjoy a free doughnut from Krispy Kreme!
