Hiraya Minokawa Dabaw (HMD) bagged the championship title at the first ever Bugsay Mindanao held last December 6 at the Cagayan de Oro River.
With the win, HMD team has garnered 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
A total of six teams from all over Mindanao battled it out on the river headed by Cagayan de Oro’s very own Liceo Dragonoids of Liceo de Cagayan University. Iligan City was represented by Team Bakunawa and Butuan City by the Fr. Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) Blue Dragons. There are 2 more teams from Davao namely Dragons del Sur and Base Camp (Dragons) Davao.
