CLARK – DAVAO RECONNECTS: FLY HIGH WITH AIRASIA

174

One of the best ways to travel across the airways is by making sure you’re bound to your dream destination flying in the best airline there is. Paying a hefty sum of money is not always a guarantee you get your money’s worth. That is why it is important to choose the right airline that brings you to destinations you never imagined possible to reach.

And the best among the rest of the airline companies soaring high in our skies right now is none other than AIRASIA Airlines. And here’s why it is so:

Leading and Largest Low-Cost Carrier in Asia

AirAsia, the leading and largest low-cost carrier in Asia, services the most extensive network with over 120 destinations. Within 15 years of operations, AirAsia carries over 330 million guests and grows its fleet from just two aircraft to over 170. The airline is proud to be a truly ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) airline with established operations based in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, India and Japan, servicing a network stretching across all Asean countries and beyond.

World’s Best Low Cost Airline

AirAsia, named the World’s Best Low Cost Airline in the annual World Airline Survey by Skytrax for eight consecutive years from 2009 – 2016, is also the first airline globally to collaborate with INTERPOL to implement the I-Checkit system to screen the passports of all its prospective passengers against information contained in the world police body’s Stolen and Lost Travel Documents (SLTD) database.

Domestic and International Flights via Philippines AirAsia

Filipino investors Antonio O. Cojuangco, former Ambassador Alfredo M. Yao, Michael L. Romero, Marianne B. Hontiveros, and Malaysia’s AirAsia Berhad, formed a joint venture company which is  the wholly owned subsidiary of AirAsia Inc. that is now Philippines AirAsia.

Phils. AirAsia operates a fleet of 14 aircraft with domestic and international flights out of hubs in Manila, Cebu, and Kalibo. In the Philippines, it operates several flights to and from Manila, Davao, Cebu, Kalibo(Boracay), Tacloban, Tagbilaran(Bohol), Puerto Princesa(Palawan), and Clark with international flights to and from Shanghai, Taipei, Incheon(Seoul), Hong Kong, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, and Singapore.

AirAsia launched commercial flights from Clark in March 2012 before transferring its hub to Metro Manila following a strategic partnership with a local carrier in 2013.

Commitment

“We are re-affirming our commitment to make air travel more affordable, convenient, and accessible to travelers outside Metro Manila. We are thrilled to be painting Clark skies red again and connect Central and Northern Luzon to domestic cities and to the country’s best island destinations,” Captain Gomer Monreal, Director for Flight Operations said at the formal launching ceremonies held in Midori Clark Pampanga.
