Café France opened yesterday August 17, 2012 and I was fortunate enough to be part of the Special Media Brunch (a day before their official opening) and I must say that Café France is not your usual dine-in resto or a coffee shop. The ambiance is very cozy and homey making your stay more comfortable than any other. More than the good ambiance, they also offer a wide array of menu ranging from scrumptious breakfast platters, to rice meals, clubhouse sandwiches, pastries, the all time favorite coffee drinks and healthy options for health conscious people.

Café France is not just for the loner, bring your family and friends to enjoy the food more. In addition to that, be entertained because as you enjoy your meals you’ll get to be entertained by the staff as they show you the tricks in making their pastries just another amazingly unique attribute this restaurant has. More than the food, the Café France crew welcomed us with smiles and hospitality that made us want to come back for more.

Café France is more than a usual coffee shop. We go further by providing not only a place for a coffeebreak, but a hangout where people can relax, spend time with friends and family over good food at any time of day. It is here to offer fresh and healthy food choices which are solely missing in the urban foodscape. Our food is prepared only as ordered, and we have studied out menu items carefully checking on nutritional values that each one gives the dinner. We know no shortcuts – just serving food the way food should be cooked and served.

So what are you waiting for? If you have enough money to burn and you really enjoy a twist in your food, march on to Café France at the 2nd floor of the Manila Bulletin building at Rizal Street corner Ponciano Street and have a food trip like no other.

Lunch could either be the picture-perfect Tray Couture of California Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich and Garlic Pesto Pasta, served with soup, a chocolate for dessert, and drink; or a filling rice meal of Chicken Mediterranean and fresh Red Grape Frappé. Punctuate your day with CafeFrance’s mouth-watering pasta, man-sized club sandwiches, and an assortment of breads and pastries—all baked on-site.

P.S. Café France brings a different dining experience to the premier city of Davao as it sets to open three stores. In its first venture out of Luzon, Café France is determined to capture the palates and hearts of Davaoenos with the opening of stores at the Manila Bulletin Building on J.P. Rizal St., at the Upper Ground Floor of Gaisano Mall of Davao, and at The Peak at the 4th level of the same mall.
