Davao’s fashion fans are in for a sartorial treat this weekend, as the signature Ayala Malls campaign that runs annually in Ayala Malls nationwide takes over Abreeza Mall in a two-day spectacle: the Mensweek Fashion Show directed by Ariel Lozada on July 19, 6 p.m., and the Community Fashion Show directed by Jackie Aquino on July 20, 4 p.m., both at the Activity Center.
First to conquer Abreeza Mall is the Mensweek show, which boasts pieces by notable Filipino designers: Anthony Ramirez, Avel Bacudio, Bang Pineda, Bea Samson, Chris Diaz, Dennis Lustico, Don Sevilla, Gian Romano, Herbert Custodio, Ivar Aseron, Jaggy Glarino, James Reyes, Jeffrey Rogador, Jerome Ang, Jerome Lorico, Joel Escober, Joey Samson, Johann Manas, Krue Bea, M. Barretto, Nixon Marquez, Noel Crisostomo, Norman Noriega, Proudrace, Regine Dulay, Renan Pacson, rhett Eala, Roland Alzate, Sassa Jimenez, Tonichi Nocom, Ulysses King, Willar Matteo, Y. Meanwhile, the Community show on July 20 will feature selections from a wide array of Abreeza Mall retailers covering kids’ and teens’ wear, men’s and women’s apparel,a ctive lifestyle picks, accessories, and more, with members of socio-civic organizatio Hijos de Davao set to wear the pieces of runway. Adding excitement to the Community show are Doug, Cheska, Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin Kramer – collectively known as Team Kramer – who will be strutting down the ramp and mingling with fans in a meet-and-greet opportunity at 6 p.m. on the same day.
