    TAGUM CITY, DAVAO DEL NORTE – Right after the peaceful barangay elections, Tagum is now geared for the Election in the Purok level.

     

    Through a Memorandum dated October 22, Mayor Allan Rellon sets November 17, 2013 as Synchronized Purok Elections whose elective officials shall be composed of one (1) Purok Chairman and seven (7) Council Members.

     

    A purok is one of the smallest political unit in the barangay whose civilian leaders are elected and qualified under the conformity and provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991.

     

    Candidates are requested to file their Certificate of Candidacy onNovember 4 to 8 and shall observe the campaign period from November 11 to 16. During the Election Day on the 17th of November, voters should cast their vote from 7AM to 3 PM. (CROMWELL – CIO Tagum)
