Fresh, young, good looking, smart and, of course, popular, these are the attributes of a campus crush. Davao Eagle Online Top 100 Campus Crushes search, however, also recognized campus personalities based on their achievements, talent, and wit.
Unlike traditional search which needed application and preferred votes from a handful of judges, this one required nominations and popular votes from the readers in both Facebook and website core communities.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to enter the Contest, a Nominee must be : (1) A Davao college student (2) Of good moral character
HOW DO WE CHOOSE A CANDIDATE FOR THE CAMPUS CRUSH?
The Campus Crushes (male and female) may be chosen/referred by (1) our Davao Eagle Online Facebook and Web Page Followers, (2) the Davao Eagle Online Screening Team or Members. Interested participants may also volunteer themselves through our Facebook Page. A nominee has the right to remove his entry.
HOW WILL THE ONLINE VOTING RUN?
The online voting will run on the Davao Eagle Website where the Profile of each of the candidates will be posted. What the supporters must do is to go to the profile of their chosen Campus Crush then share/tweet or like first the Davao Eagle Online FB Page to unlock the popout screen. Vote by clicking the heart button located at the bottom part of the candidate’s profile.
JUDGING DETAILS
The candidates with the highest number of votes will be the basis of the ranking.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Votes will be canvassed fully on December 2013, or as announced by the Davao Eagle Team. Winners will be announced soon thereafter.
WHAT’S IN STORE FOR THE TOP CAMPUS CRUSHES?
Davao Eagle Online is a nonprofit organization, thus winners of the contest will be rewarded with unlimited exposure in our websites, articles and events, along with gifts from our sponsors. An awarding event or fashion show may be held to showcase the Campus Crushes.
PROFILE CHOICE
Profile of the Campus Crushes will be posted on DavaoEagle.com and Davao Eagle Online Facebook page. The profile will be published after a nomination is cast.
