Team Heat Stress from University of Southeastern Philippines bested other seven teams in the recently concluded IBM Start-Up in a Cloud held last July 10, 2015 at A Space Manila, Makati.

Jan Rey Altivo and Franch Maverick Lorilla, the team behind Heat Stress analyzer will be the Philippines representative to the DLD Tel Aviv Digital Conference in Israel. It is the largest international gathering of the best tech startups to be slated on September 6-12, 2015.

Heat Stress analyzer is an electronic device that protects agricultural crops against irreversible effects of heat stress and provides data analysis for an improved growth.

Team Heat Stress Analyzer is also one of the top ten winners of the 2015 IdeaSpace competition from over 1,000 entries nationwide and 15 startups overseas by IdeaSpace Foundation. They received 500,000 pesos in seed funding, plus a separate grant worth 500,000 pesos.
